The Animal Humane Society (AHS), the leading animal welfare organization in the Midwest, recently teamed up with a local veterinarian to introduce a subsidized spay/neuter service for low-income pet owners. AHS asked Pollywog to create the name. Because sterilization is key to reducing the heartbreaking volume of animals euthanized by crowded shelters—and because the service is made possible through the kindness of donors—we recommended "Kindest Cut."
